It all started in Portland, Oregon — where I'm from, and a city that truly thrives in coffee culture. Growing up surrounded by beautifully crafted coffee shaped the way I think about every cup.

Living as an expat across Asia and Europe gave me years of immersion in some of the world's most storied coffee cultures. In Italy, I experienced firsthand how a perfectly pulled espresso is not just a drink — it's a daily ritual, a social tradition, a point of pride. Across Asia, I encountered delicate, ceremonial approaches to coffee that challenged everything I thought I knew about the craft.

I founded Cuppa to bring that traditional coffee culture to the community — the kind rooted in craft, patience, and respect for the bean. Real coffee, made the right way, shared with everyone.
